Brent Portable Power Supply Unit

The main purpose of a Brent is to connect users or groups of users via an encrypted ISDN network, either line, radio or satellite. To allow the user to operate their Brent device in a remote or difficult location, GRC has developed a portable, stable power supply unit. The benefits of our Brent system include;

  • The Brent Portable Power Supply Unit protects the Brent from dust ingress


Any vehicle fitted with a cigarette lighter socket can be used with the Brent Portable Power Supply Unit. The demand from the vehicle is 1.2A maximum at 12V, the engine can either be running or inactive. The Brent can be charged in-vehicle and if the vehicle is fitted with the correct communications system.
