The GRC G-BEC Mk2 Dual Battery Power Supply unit provides a lightweight solution to powering vehicle-fitted communications systems with two power outputs while protecting the vehicle battery supply.

 The GRC G-BEC Mk2 Dual Battery Power Supply unit provides a lightweight solution to powering vehicle-fitted communications systems with two power outputs, while protecting the vehicle battery supply.

The GRC G-BEC Mk2 is designed for use with two UBI-2590 batteries, but will work with any compatible rechargeable batteries.

The batteries are protected by a hard-wearing cover and battery status and input charge status indication is available by means of a press-button operated LED display.

Charging from the vehicle battery while the engine is running, the GRC G-BEC Mk2 automatically stops drawing charge from the vehicle  battery when it detects that the voltage is decreasing towards a level too low to start the vehicle engine. The G-BEC Mk2 then automatically resumes charging once this voltage increases to a safe level
