GRC Mini Talk-Through System (GMTT)

 

The GMTT is a Tactical Repeater System used in conjunction with modern Multiband, multi-mission handheld radio systems (in this case, the Harris RF-5800M-HH) to enhance their operation by providing longer range and better overall performance utilizing a series of field interchangeable duplexers and role-type antennas.


The GMTT supports 20 Watt full duplex operation across the 30-512 MHz band through the use of dedicated receive and transmit radios and a duplexer, which combines their operation on a single antenna.


The GMTT can be deployed as a standalone package or is ideally suited to quick-fit installation in a variety of land and maritime platforms. Repeater based systems support a reliable and flexible communications and provides significant increase in capability for the deployed handheld radio user.

20 Watt Multiband Capability:
20 Watts across the 30-512 MHZ band. Antennas are field interchangeable and can be selected according to role, mission, and platform requirements.

Frequency Agility and Diversity:
Field interchangeable Duplexers allow the GMTT  to operate with an allocated frequency range within  the 30-512 MHz band, providing co-site protection and system optimization.

Integrated Power Supply/Smart Charger Technology:
GMTT has an integral PSU and can therefore be powered directly from a vehicle supply without needing a separate, external PSU.  GMTT will automatically stop drawing a charge from the vehicle supply when it detects the vehicle supply voltage has fallen to a pre-determined level adequate to start the vehicle. An AC power cable is supplied to allow the GMTT to be used dismounted when required.
