Emergency Services
Emergency services rely heavily on radio networks to perform their duties. The traditional role of radio networks to provide communication functions is well known, but in the modern world it is possible to use such infrastructure for additional functions and services.
Just as the advent of new transmission technologies in the wired world has enabled new services such as internet connectivity, TV and VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), so data over radio enables mapping, situational awareness and security.
GRC, with its wealth of experience in providing communications and security solutions to the MoD, is ideally placed to help emergency services get more out of their existing infrastructure. The GRC solution set comprises products and services designed to increase RF (Radio Frequency) range and coverage, provide information security, and enhancement to GPS (Global Positioning System) fed GIS (Graphical Information Systems).
Based in Hereford, GRC is certified to work in the most sensitive and demanding security environments. GRC understands the needs of the customer and is able to translate needs into deliverable projects on-time and within budget.
