GRC work with government departments, both in the UK and overseas, to provide communication, security and surveillance solutions designed for a variety of threat and risk levels.
Introduction
The events of 9/11 and more recent terrorist related activities have demanded more reactive levels of protection, this is being acheived by combining government departments and restructuring and by the creation of Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), which has an aim of reducing the harm caused to the United Kingdom by serious organised crime. Such activities have led to an improved situational awareness capability. This is enabled through innovative Information Communication Technology (ICT).
GRC understands that our government departments have an increased requirement for situational awareness (SA), which is achieved by the use of graphic visualisation products. Accurate and reliable surveillance technology has made it possible to achieve a higher success rate of prosecution. GRC supplies the equipment necessary to assist our government sectors meet their goals.
The Department for International Development (DfiD) Stabilisation Unit (SU) also respond to emergencies. The Stabilsation Unit is pivotal in providing first response communications to enable command and control at a secure level.
Application
These demanding environments require the use of evolving technologies which sometimes need to be stand alone. We supply equipment which is not dependant on organic infrastructure but provides in-fil capability. Solutions are provided by the use of Commercial off the Shelf (CotS) products and bespoke design when needed.
