Introduction
In the ever-changing operational environments into which the military is deployed, flexible and responsive systems are required to support the Commanders' plan. The system must be mobile, quick to install, resilient and robust and deliver the services required with minimum fuss, time and be completely reliable - especially during high intensity operations. Through a common technology base, new information systems offer much higher levels of integration and interoperability than has previously been possible.
GRC boasts a unique set of skills and experience and is able to respond to both small Equipment Procurement (EP) requirements, but more specifically Urgent Operational Requirements (UORs) which demand agility and ability to respond with a relatively short 'flash to bang' delivery. The company draws upon a product toolkit comprising the latest technologies, coupled with design, implementation and maintenance services to enable a variety of operational capabilities for our customers. GRC understands the imperative of the Defence Lines of Development (DLoD) to ensure that integration training and maintenance aspects are considered during the solution phase.
Application
Based in Hereford, GRC is certified to work in the most sensitive and demanding security environments. The company understands the needs of the customer through its staff, many of whom have past in-theatre experience and knowledge, providing the ability to translate requirements into deliverables to provide capability - on time and within budget. GRC is able to design and build solutions based upon the C4ISTAR model, including situational awareness, local and remote surveillance to facilitate and enhance the success of surgical and enduring operations.
GRC operates in an expanding international market place in conjunction with specialist suppliers and in-country partners who are able to facilitate and meet with the stringent export regulations required.
