Custom Design & Build
GRC has a technical design and production facility which is staffed with highly skilled engineers from a range of disciplines including programming, electronic hardware, printed circuit board layout and construction, enclosure design, network design and installation, mechanical design, regulatory compliance testing and product evaluation.
Our design and production facility has allowed us to develop and deliver multiple specialist products.
The products we design and produce range from adapted PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant) and cables to remote IP (Internet Protocol) network management tools and GPS (Global Positioning System) fed GIS (Geographic Information System) reference systems. We pride ourselves on our ability to add significant value in defining and subsequently rapidly developing technical solutions where they are required.
Fundamental to this capability is the operator level knowledge which GRC designers maintain, combined with user interaction and concurrency to improve the probability of a solution being right first time.
Technical Support Services
GRC provide a central point of contact and 24 hour phone support, deployment support and remote network management for all of our customers.
We also offer repair chain solutions - GRC can repair equipment to component level, manage the shipping of faulty equipment, asset track faulty equipment and provide a central database for all returned equipment.
We can also provide test and survey analysis, configuration control and manage obsolescence.
Training
GRC are an SIA approved provider of specialist training.
GRC also provide training for our equipment if needed, which provides users with responsive, focused and practical skills to make the most of our solution's considerable capability.
Bespoke Training
Training and mentoring solutions for Commanders, Operators and Staff on the use of the latest hybrid or bespoke C4I Star technology at tactical, operational and strategic level.
Generalist Special Forces Training
Ex special forces personnel will train and mentor specialist user groups, covering offensive and defensive/protective mission sets. This also covers the challenging mission of covert human surveillance.
Close Protection Training
GRC are certified as an approved centre to train Edexcel BTEC Close Protection Operations Courses. The training is of the highest quality and provides all the core training necessary to attain an SIA License. Ex special forces staff design, train and mentor our clients.
Tracking & Monitoring Solutions
GRC offers a broad range of tracking technologies and has a worldwide client base with many different tracking requirements, including;

Positional data is returned to our customers using various methods, including a web interface on detailed worldwide mapping, which provides an update every few minutes and the devices also have an alarm facility built-in. Network Design
In recognition that many of our customers require manpower and knowledge support when engaged in complex communication situations, GRC provide in-theatre assessments and network design. This includes a full network critical issues analysis both in terms of the radio spectrum and geographical dead spots and constraints.
GRC use complex software to analyse both the electromagnetic spectrum and geography to enable a network to be designed that has a low wattage but high penetration in densely populated locations. This is particularly critical in today’s growing and often unmanageable environment of Counter Improvised Explosive Device inhibitors. Where no single equipment solution provides the required capability (which is normal) GRC Ltd will assist the customer in ensuring that systems are appropriately integrated and configured.
System Integration & Vehicle Installations
Where no single solution meets the complex demanding requirements of today's customer, GRC can assist in the design and integration of both equipment and capabilities. With the rising cost of new integrated platforms, GRC is able to match the customer's needs with more cost effective solutions using their existing products.

GRC provides covert, overt and discrete vehicle, man-pack and marine communications integration, including cameras, processors, commercial communication systems and sensors. These are modular mobile fits, scalable to budget and capability requirement.
Largely integrating and installing CoTS components which are most appropriate for the task, vehicles are designed with appropriate engineering standards and procedures by a team of highly competent, specialist military experienced engineers. GRC also provide bespoke vehicle power management systems, which assures the integrity of the vehicle systems whilst providing resilient power and graceful degradation to communications components. This power solution has proven so valuable that it has recently been adapted for man-pack use in support of operationally critical tasks.
GRC can provide adapted power and ancillaries for manpack use of tactical radio systems, in order to allow the level of power amplification and endurance normally associated with vehicle installations.

Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) - Bug-sweeping
Bug-sweeping is the the systematic electronic, physical and visual examination of a designated area by trained and qualified persons, utilising appropriate equipment and techniques in an effort to locate transmitting or surreptitious listening devices, security hazards or other means in which classified, sensitive or proprietary information could be intercepted or lost.
GRC has a small team of qualified and highly experienced operators who offer the following kinds of sweep services;
Physical search using a variety of tools including non linear junction detector, bore-scopes and electronic devices the target area is thoroughly examined to ascertain the presence of eavesdropping equipment.
Electronic search using the most advanced equipment and software available. The target area is electronically "sniffed" to detect the presence of surreptitious listening devices.
Telephone / Mains search conducted using specialist equipment designed to check telephone equipments and mains cables for the presence of parasite devices, voice operated devices and a host of other clandestine devices.
Wireless Access Point (WAP) emissions will be 'sniffed' to locate unauthorised (rogue) and insecurely configured WAP's.
Computer Forensics
GRC uses Encase Forensic ® software which is an industry standard in computer forensic investigation technology for law enforcement officers, government / corporate investigators and consultants.
We provide the following computer forensic services;
- Data acquisition in a forensically sound manner on mulitple platforms.
- Investigating employee internet abuse
- Proving unauthorized disclosure of corporate information and data.
- Investigation into suspected industrial espionage, criminal fraud and deception.
- Data recovery for deleted or damaged files and folders.

Network Penetration Testing
GRC provide a complete network security consultancy service.
Network Penetration Testing is an independent series of tests to evaluate the security vulnerabilities of a client network. We use Nessus ® which is the world's most popular vulnerability scanner used in over 75,000 organizations world-wide. Network Penetration testing is provided in different ways;
- Black hat - no knowledge of network. (simulates hacker, industrial spy and opportunist).
- White hat - full knowledge of network. (complete security audit).
- Internal - test inside of network for vulnerabilities.
We also provide a comprehensive Wireless Access Point (WAP) emission survey capability using Airmagnet ®, Kismet ®, Kismac ® and other leading software tools. This survey provides clients with a report detailing security implications and recommendations.
